CAMPING GOLDEN SUNSET ACCOMMODATION POLICY
Reservations
- All guests must be at least 18 years old or older to make a reservation at Camping Golden Sunset.
- For your reservation to be valid, you must:
- Pay the required deposit from the total offer amount in advance.
- Pay the full amount for non-refundable or last-minute reservations.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer to the company account or any other requested method.
- The deposit must be made within the requested timeframe.
- The full name under which the reservation was made and your arrival date must be explicitly stated in the payment justification.
- ATTENTION: Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer (sender).
- After making the payment, you must send the proof of deposit to the accommodation’s email (info@goldensunset.gr).
- Once the proof of deposit is received and the funds appear in the corporate account, a booking confirmation will be sent to your email.
- You must have this confirmation with you upon arrival at the reception.
- All prices include 13% VAT and all legal taxes applicable until the reservation date.
- By making a reservation, you accept the accommodation’s policy.
Reservation Changes and Offers
- Campers must provide timely notice of any changes to their reservation.
- Changes are subject to availability for the new dates and payment of any resulting price difference.
- Offers are valid for a specific period, subject to availability, and cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
Payments
- Payments are accepted in cash, bank transfers, and credit/debit cards.
- If you require an invoice for your stay, you must inform the accommodation during the booking process.
- Upon arrival, full payment is required for stays in mobile homes or bell tents.
- For non-refundable reservations, the total amount is paid at the time of booking and is not refundable for any reason.
Cancellation Policies
The following percentages of the deposit/paid amount are returned (minus any postal, bank, or payment gateway fees):

- Early Departure: The customer will be charged the total value of the reservation if they depart early without timely notice and the accommodation’s consent.
- Non-show: If a guest does not appear without notice, the reservation is canceled 1 day after the scheduled arrival, and the spot is released without a refund.
- Exceptional Circumstances: The accommodation reserves the right to cancel, modify, or withdraw services if necessary. In such cases, a full refund is issued, and every effort will be made to secure comparable alternative accommodation in the area.
Arrival and Departure
- Required Documents: You must present your booking confirmation and ID or passport upon arrival.
- Check-in Times:
- Mobile Homes / Bell Tents: After 15:00.
- Camping Site Access: From 08:00 (you may wait in the Restaurant/Bar area until your unit is ready).
- Check-out Times:
- Mobile Homes / Bell Tents: By 11:00.
- Camping Pitch: By 12:00.
- Late Check-out: Subject to availability and approval by reception, potentially with an additional charge.
- Security Deposit: A deposit for the good use of the Mobile Home or Bell Tent may be required at arrival, which is refunded in full upon departure if no damage is found. The amount will be disclosed during booking.
- Condition of Unit: Units must be returned in good/clean condition, or a cleaning fee may be charged.
General Rules and Conduct
- Occupancy: Overnight stays by more people than declared at arrival are prohibited.
- Linens: Moving or using provided towels and bed linens outside of the bell tents or mobile homes is prohibited.
- Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside all units (tents/mobile homes), pools, jacuzzis, and all indoor common areas.
- Behavior: Guests are expected to behave decently, keep noise levels down, and respect other campers and staff. The accommodation may remove anyone who does not comply with regulations without compensation.
- Damages: Report any pre-existing damages to reception immediately. Guests are liable for damages caused by intent or negligence.
Child and Pet Policies
- Children:
- Under 4 years old: Free stay in camping pitches.
- Day use for children under 3: Free.
- Minors must be under constant adult supervision.
- Pets:
- Accepted only in specific “Pet-Friendly” units and only by prior arrangement.
- A valid health booklet from a veterinarian is required and must be presented upon request.
- Aggressive pets are strictly prohibited; the accommodation reserves the right to expel guests with aggressive pets without a refund.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area or on sun loungers.
Facilities and Safety
- Kitchen Use: Guests are responsible for the proper use of unit kitchens. Cooking foods that cause strong, lasting odors is prohibited, or a cleaning fee may apply.
- Pools and Water Slides:
- Sun loungers and umbrellas are free for residents (subject to availability).
- Do not “reserve” loungers with towels; unattended items may be removed.
- Strictly Prohibited: Diving, running, dangerous games, and the use of bicycles/scooters in the pool area.
- Water Slides: Only one person at a time; follow lifeguard instructions strictly.
- External food and drinks are not allowed in the restaurant, snack bar, or pool areas.
- Internet: Free WiFi is available in accommodation units, the restaurant, bar, and pool areas.
- Valuables: Guests are responsible for their personal items. Valuables can be stored at Reception for safekeeping.
- Security: A CCTV system operates in common areas for public safety.
Legal Information
- Force Majeure: The accommodation is not liable for failure to perform duties due to strikes, fire, floods, or natural disasters.
- Data Protection: Personal data is processed according to Greek and European Law (GDPR) solely for reservation purposes.
- Intellectual Property: All website content belongs to the accommodation and cannot be reproduced without permission.
- Applicable Law: These terms are governed by Greek Law; the courts of Patras have exclusive jurisdiction.
